Although we do assist gyms with getting their business liability insurance and also help event promoters get their event liability insurance the main reason that you are reading this today is because of our belief that personal injury insurance programs are very important for the Jiu Jitsu community to be aware of.
Our injury insurance plans are relatively inexpensive (average subscription cost is $25 per month) depending on your demographics and pay you directly to cover the costs of your medical bills no matter what type of health insurance you have. The programs we offer appeal to people who have active lifestyles and risk injury participating in hobby's that they love, like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
We all know that we are at high risk for injury practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, however our insurance plans do not limit you to injuries on the mats. The programs that we provide cover you 24 hour per days, and some of our plans even cover you on the job!
Why should I purchase a Jiu Jitsu insurance injury policy if I already have health insurance?
In the US, the average individual health insurance deductible is about $2500. Many people and families have deductibles well over $5000 with out-of-pocket maximums sometimes well over $20,000. Meaning that if you get hurt, you could potentially pay at least your amount out-of-pocket, or more.
Jiu Jitsu insurance policies help bridge the gap so that you aren’t drowning in medical expenses after you suffer a sudden injury, they pay you to cover the medical bills that your health insurance plan might not cover.
What if I don’t have health insurance coverage?
Our programs do not require you to have a health insurance policy although of course we recommend it. Although we are not a health insurance substitute our policies will still pay you for your medical bills if you don’t have a medical policy.
