Overview: JiuJitsuInsurance.com is a growing niche insurance resource for the mixed martial arts and Brazilian jujitsu community. We are a subsidiary of a nationwide insurance brokerage led by Chris Martin, the founder, who has over twenty years of insurance experience and is passionate about mentoring and coaching individuals seeking career development. JiuJitsuInsurance.com has risen quickly to become an insurance and business development authority for the fast-growing mixed martial arts and Brazilian jiu-jitsu community. We are seeking an intern to join our team.

Opportunity: The internship program at JiuJitsuInsurance.com is an opportunity for students interested in business, e-commerce, marketing, sales, and insurance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing company. The intern will work closely with Chris Martin to assist with customer service and client management, develop marketing materials and strategies, conduct market research and competitor analysis, and assist with website and social media management. The internship can be face-to-face in the Chicagoland or Milwaukee areas or virtual, depending on the projects and the intern's preferred learning style. In addition, there is an opportunity for self-study to obtain property and casualty and life and health insurance licenses in any state the intern wishes to do business in, either during the internship or after as an independent affiliate partner. If the intern obtains these licenses, there is also the potential for them to earn income as an independent licensed broker. Accreditation through partnering universities is also possible.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in communications, business, marketing, sales, e-commerce, or related fields.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Google Suite.

• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

• Passionate about mixed martial arts and Brazilian jujitsu is a plus.
